What is DISC?

The Daphne Innovation + Science Complex, or DISC, is a seventy-five-acre master-planned campus for Class A office and research space that is intentionally focused toward the recruitment of technology, professional services, and corporate office opportunities. The project has been designed to foster the creation of high-wage, professional, and technical jobs for the Eastern Shore.

DISC is aimed at creating a setting to recruit and foster job creation, with specific focus on the technology sector. The initial phase has been planned to allow the construction of a multi-story mid-rise office building. The public component of the project consists of the entitlement and construction of the infrastructure for the campus. Buildings will ultimately be constructed based on market demand by “vertical partners” in conjunction with tangible job creation.
